Jacques Derenne is Partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in Brussels and Head of their EU Competition & Regulatory Practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in State aid and has co-directed and co-authored studies for the European Commission on the enforcement of State aid rules at national level. He co-edited a book on the enforcement of EU State aid law at national level (2010). He teaches competition law at the University of Liège and the Brussels School of Competition
